Aim

MJ Biotechnology (MJB) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by MJ Cell Press. The journal provides a broad multidisciplinary platform for the publication of high-quality original research, reviews, short communications, technical notes, perspectives, and methodological advances covering all fundamental, applied, emerging, and translational areas of biotechnology.

The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge and technological innovation through the study, engineering, modification, and application of biological systems, living organisms, cells, microorganisms, biomolecules, and biological processes. It welcomes research ranging from fundamental molecular and cellular investigations to large-scale industrial applications and biotechnology-based solutions addressing challenges in health, agriculture, food production, energy, the environment, and sustainable development.
