After submission, the manuscript will undergo initial check which consists of Technical Check (compliance with guidelines related to conflicts of interest, reporting standards, acknowledgments, authors’ complete details, etc.), Plagiarism Check (Using Crossref plagiarism detection tool)   and Author’s Verification (to ensure author authenticity).

After the initial check and depending on the Editor-in-Chief’s initial decision, the manuscript may be:

Rejected or transfer to any other suitable journal with author’s consent, if the manuscript is not within the scope of the submitting journal,

Returned for Revision, the authors will be notified, and the revised version can be resubmitted.

Sent to Peer Review, if the manuscript is within the scope of the submitting journal.

The reviewers will complete the review and sent report. The editor compiles the different reports and make decision (minor revision, major revision, accept in current state, reject) based on reviewers’ recommendation and the overall scientific quality of the paper. After corrections (when necessary), if the manuscript is suitable for publication based on reviewers’ recommendation and the overall scientific quality of the paper, the editor-in-chief will decide on its provisional acceptance.

After provisional acceptance

Upon provisional acceptance, the corresponding or submitting author is given 1 week of time for the completion of the article processing charge (APC) payment. Upon receiving the payment, English language editing, copyediting, and typesetting are done. Then, the manuscript is formatted to make a galley proof.

The galley proof is sent as a PDF file to the corresponding or submitting author, and 3 days are given for the necessary corrections by the authors. The purpose of the galley proof is to check for typesetting or conversion errors and the completeness and accuracy of the text, tables, and figures. Substantial changes in content, e.g., new results, corrected values, title, and authorship, are not allowed without the approval of the Editor-in-Chief.
